Account Manager / Director - Hosting / Cloud / Managed Services - UK
The purpose of this role is to develop long term profitable relationships with named accounts meeting mutually agreed revenue targets for the financial year.
Key responsibilities of the Senior Account Manager / Director:
• To drive business growth through existing clients and prospective new clients, developing a proactive action plan
• Lead customer proposals and presentations in response to specific opportunity qualification
• Work with the head of managed accounts on generating profitable account growth
• Produce and monitor accurate and clear forecasting on orders, revenue and profit-by-account
• Actively drive client activity if appropriate and suggest strategic / tactical solutions to their marketing objectives
• Overall responsibilities for regular client / agency reviews and follow up on all active accounts
• Ensure all internal stakeholders including marketing, operations and commercial have the latest marketplace intelligence along with customer feedback & requirements
• Lead customer proposals and presentations in response to specific opportunity qualification
Skills & Experience required from the Senior Account Manager / Director:
• Sales experience in an account management environment
• Extensive working knowledge and hands on experience in either the cloud, hosting or managed services space
• Proven success in developing and delivering on sales strategies
• Strong communication, project management and critical thinking skills
• Higher education / degree qualified (desirable)
Senior Account Manager / Director Package:
• £40,000 - £60,000 per annum
• Very good commission structure
• Flexible benefits scheme
