Mobile consumer cloud market will be worth £4 bn by 2016

High-profile launches from players such as Amazon, Google and Apple are expected to galvanize the growing market for consumer cloud mobility services, generating revenues reaching almost £4 billion ($6.5 billion) a year by 2016, a new report has found.

UK IT still worried about cloud, says report

Adoption of the cloud is surprisingly low despite the much-hyped benefits, a survey has revealed.

According to Cisco's CloudWatch 2011 report, only seven percent of UK IT applications are actually in the cloud and only 23 percent intend to increase this within the next two years.
